Goodbye 2023!

As we start the New Year, we want to reflect upon the year that has passed. One of the best parts of our job is the memories we make with campers. Smiling faces as they achieve new levels of scuba certifications, ride a wave for the first time, see a sea turtle up close and personal, and so much more is what we look forward to year after year.

This year we had campers and staff from all over the world. They all came together at camp and achieved greatness. Campers explored the Island of Oahu on our Hawaii Sea Turtle Adventure. They immersed themselves in the Costa Rican culture and then monitored the beaches for Leatherback sea turtle nests. Our campers explored the underwater world gaining Open Water and Advanced Open Water Certifications in our scuba camps. They aided the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center by caring for their patients and then got knee-deep in salt marsh mud looking for the creatures that call it home in Marine Biology Adventure and Immersion. Campers stood up on their first waves and learned the importance of oysters in our Carolina Ocean Odyssey Camp.

Campers developed relationships with other campers, staff, and the environment in all programs. The difference a week at camp can make in the confidence and competence of our campers is utterly amazing. Learning our campers stay in touch, become dive buddies, and even apply to the same colleges together warms our hearts.

Providing a safe environment for our campers to learn about the ocean, discover new adventures, and build new relationships is why we do what we do. Year after

year, we strive to provide our campers with exemplary experiences that will create memories that last a lifetime. Our staff embody our missions and work tirelessly to make sure our campers receive the best. We are excited to see what 2024 will bring us and cannot wait for another summer of adventure!
