Operations Director

Josh Zeldin

Josh is from the small coastal Florida town of Dunedin, located in the Tampa Bay area. Growing up near the ocean shaped his love for the water, though much of his early life was devoted to music. Josh attended Saint Leo University and the University of South Florida, where he focused on social work and hospital administration.

Josh was commissioned as a Medical Service Corps Officer in the U.S. Army and served for over 20 years, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. Throughout his military career, he quite literally lived all over the world, ultimately concluding his service on his second tour in Hawai‘i. It was there that he discovered a deep passion for scuba diving, logging hundreds of hours underwater. He became a certified Divemaster and worked as a scuba diver at the Aulani Resort by Walt Disney World in Oahu.

A lifelong advocate for ocean conservation, Josh regularly volunteers for beach cleanups, coral restoration projects, and other environmental efforts whenever possible. Today, he continues to balance a life shaped by service, the sea, and creativity. Now based in Wilmington, Josh is an active member of the local music scene and plays with the band Forty Two, where his lifelong passion for music comes full circle—bringing the same energy, discipline, and love for connection that have guided him on land and underwater to the stage.
